Deliveries in industrial areas
In industrial areas, companies either have their own postal address or an address that they share with other companies.
Own address
If the company has its own address, a mailbox that is available to postal operators around the clock must be placed at the plot boundary. It helps if the mailbox is placed together with the mailboxes of the other companies in the area, as a mailbox cluster on the mail carrier’s route. The mailbox must be labeled with both the company’s name and its address.
Shared address
If several companies use a shared address, which is known as a collective address, the mail is delivered to all the companies using a shared mailbox, which should be available to postal operators around the clock. An alternative to a shared mailbox is a multi-occupancy mailbox.
