What is PostNord Parcel Locker?

PostNord Parcel Locker is for you who want to offer your customer a flexible and accessible delivery location for parcels, up to 10 kg, in the Nordics. Parcels are delivered to one of our parcel lockers that are available at over 5700 locations in the Nordics and the recipient chooses the parcel locker that suits them best. Our parcel lockers are strategically placed to be close to customers in residential areas our natural meeting points where many people pass in everyday life.

Using PostNord Parcel Locker, you can follow the package’s path from the time we collect until it is picked up by the recipient. The recipient receives a notification via sms, email or PostNord App when a parcel is ready for pickup in the parcel locker that they have chosen.

You need to be a service agreement customer at PostNord in order to use PostNord Parcel Locker

Delivery

In Sweden, parcels sent with PostNord Parcel Locker are delivered to the recipient’s parcel locker within 1-2 working days. Outside of Sweden, parcels are normally delivered within 2-6 working days.

Longer delivery times are applicable for certain locations and countries.

PostNord Parcel Locker can be sent to: Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland.

For all other countries, we recommend that you use services PostNord Service Point or International Parcel.

Availability

Parcel lockers located outdoors are available 24 hours a day. If a parcel locker is placed indoors, the same opening hours apply as the property where it is placed.

Saturday delivery

With Saturday delivery you, as an e-commerce company, can offer your customer the possibility of receiving their ordered goods on Saturdays instead of having to wait out the weekend. Saturday delivery is currently available in Sweden. Saturday delivery is combined with PostNord Parcel Locker and means an extra delivery day to parcel lockers at no extra cost.

The Nordic Swan Ecolabel

PostNord Parcel Locker is one of our services that is delivered with a Nordic Swan Ecolabelled transport. The Nordic Swan Ecolabel makes it easy for consumers to choose a more sustainable delivery for any goods purchased online.

How do I send

Send using Skicka Direkt Business

Use Skicka Direkt Business to book pickups, print shipping documents and create electronic pre-notifications for PostNord Parcel Locker. You can also download reports for any follow-ups. It is possible to use a separate TA-system approved by PostNord.

Print Label (Within the Nordic region) 

With Print Label, a QR code is generated instead of a physical shipping label. The shipping label is printed at a service point when your customer presents the QR code. The label is then attached to the parcel and can be dropped off in one of our parcel lockers.  

Free choice of service point (Within the Nordic region) 

You can select a specific distribution point; i.e. you decide where the recipient is to collect his/her parcel. Mandatory for recipients outside Sweden.

Climate compensation (Within the Nordic region)

PostNord invests the entire compensation fee in renewable energy production in developing countries. Fossil energy production is being replaced by renewable solutions.This is accomplished via UN-certified CDM (Clean Development Mechanism) projects through the company 2050.

Goods Insurance (Within the Nordic region)

Take out additional goods insurance.

Pre-notification (Within Sweden) 

Your recipient will receive a notification via the PostNord App, email, or SMS with the delivery date for the parcel.

Change in delivery arrangement (Within Sweden)

Changes can be made to the delivery process before the parcel has been collected by the recipient. For example, it is possible to change the recipient’s name or address, or to specify that the parcel is to be returned to the sender. Use the PostNord Portal for this service if you printed the shipping documents there, or download the form (PDF) for booking additional services.

Tobacco (Within Sweden)

When sending parcels containing tobacco goods or similar products according to Swedish Act (2018:2088) or tobacco-free nicotine products according to Swedish Act (2022:1257).

Age check (Within Sweden)

Used for shipments where it is necessary to check that the recipient is old enough to receive the delivery; 16, 18 or 20 years of age.

ID Check (To Norway)

The parcel locker is accessed using the Norwegian PostNord App. The recipient verifies their identity with Mobile BankID and can then retrieve their parcel.

Split Shipment (To Norway)

Makes shipment customs clearance possible for several parcels to different recipients when crossing customs border.
