Purpose and data collected

Pardot (first-party cookie and third party cookie) is used to analyse and track visitor behaviour on our website, such as page views and file downloads, in order to assess potential interest in our products and to deliver customised content and functions. If a user is a recipient of marketing communications, the data can also be used for segmentation of recipients and customization of marketing communications.

Pardot (pixel) is used to track if an email is being opened and if any links in the email are being clicked. This is done to assess potential interest in our products. Email open tracking is handled by an invisible, single-pixel image that inserted into HTML emails. When a recipient opens the email, the image loads, and it is counted as an opened email. If a recipient clicks a link within the email, Pardot counts the email as opened whether or not the tracking pixel loaded. Please note that activating web browser do-not-track-settings will prevent collection of information about email link clicks, but the fact that the email has been opened will still be collected even if the user has activated such settings.
