What is Varubrev?
Varubrev is a service for companies that want to send trackable parcels weighing up to 2 kg to addresses in Sweden. We deliver directly to the recipient’s mailbox. If the Varubrev does not fit in the mailbox, it will be left outside the recipient’s door or in a bag on the outside of the mailbox. A photograph will be taken of items delivered this way as confirmation for both the sender and receiver. Using the PostNord App, the recipient can track the delivery all the way from pick-up to distribution in Sweden.
Several versions of the Varubrev service are available – choose the one that suits your needs. Varubrev First Class for extra fast delivery, or Varubrev Economy for a more economical price. Supplement the service with Varubrev Return, which makes it easy for recipients to return shipments using a QR code or a pre-paid return shipping label.
In order to use our Varubrev service, you need to be one of our service agreement customers.
Delivery
Varubrev First Class shipments are delivered the next business day, while Varubrev Economy shipments are delivered within 3–4 business days.
Send via Skicka Direkt Business
You can send Varubrev shipments via Skicka Direkt Business, or another TA supplier approved by PostNord. Hand your Varubrev shipments in at one of our service points or at designated drop-off points. You must make sure to send the transport instructions to us via EDI no later than one hour before drop-off.
If you are sending Varubrev First Class, mark the shipment “Varubrev”. If you are sending Varubrev Economy, mark the shipment “Varubrev B” and log for climate compensation.
For daily pick-up of Varubrev shipments, you can sign up for the Pick-Up service via the PostNord Portal.
Book Varubrev shipment
Drop-offs of Varubrev First Class shipments containing at least 2,000 items must be booked no later than 9 a.m. on the drop-off day. Drop-offs of Varubrev Economy shipments containing at least 2,000 items must be booked no later than 5 p.m. on the day before drop-off.

Additional services
Advance notification
When you want to notify your customers that their shipments are on their way. We notify the recipient in advance by email or SMS.
Print Label
If you are using the Varubrev Return service, you can also select “Print Label”. Your customer will then receive a QR code instead of a hard-copy return shipping note. The customer then presents the QR code at the service point when dropping off the return and will be issued with the relevant shipping note.
Size supplement
You can send shipments longer than 340 mm, broader than 240 mm or taller than 70 mm on payment of a supplementary charge.
